I had a nice hunt with beautiful weather. I had a good permission a few years ago, and now there is construction going on. There were old houses there at one time. You can't tell now. I spent an hour or so and found these. The crusty Indian, which is probably an 1893. I get impatient and get out the green scratchy, when I can't see a date. I think I found a silver shoe buckle. It shows a lot of wear! I took a small file to the back and sure enough it is silver. Maybe its to big and is just a waist buckle. I met someone renting a place nearby and wants to go out. He owns 5 lots in a nearby old town. It should work out great. New permissions are almost as good as getting out. Happy Hunting! The wheat cent was a bonus!
