Went to my go to spot today. Had a faint hit that read 90-92 on my at gold. Dug a plug. Nothing yet. Pulled out the pinpointer and it was buzzing on the side of the hole. Used the ole finger to scrap the sides and out pops these. First Barber quarter for me (1893) and first SLQ (dateless 1917). They are both pretty toasted but beautiful in my eyes! Totally stoked.

Killer spill, way to go!
How deep were they?

SWEET SILVER SPILL! Awesome finds, congrats on all of them! nice to see the AT GOLD coming thru, congrats!

Awesome finds brother, man that barber is smooth as a baby's bottom still a good find..

Is that a 1917 merc as well?

Nice digs and thanks for sharing those pictures

Nice spill. It's been a few years since I've had a spill like that. Congrats !

Did all those come out of the same hole? nice digs... would give my left one for a barber quarter.

How could the SLQ be dateless and also 1917?? Great spill congrats

Nice spill, I would have been stoked too!

Pete

Congrats on the silver!! I found my 1st SLQ-- liberty a few weeks ago, found another merc today... :occasion14:

All of the coins pictured came out of the same hole. They were stacked on top of each other sitting on there side. They were down about 4 to 5 inches and yes that is a 1917 merc. Also, deductive reasoning leads me to believe the slq is a 1917 due to the reverse having no stars below the eagle. No?

Man...With luck like that I would have bought a powerball ticket on my way home!!! That's a super coin spill!!!!

Awesome spill!!! congrats on the 1sts

Only thing better than finding old silver is finding a spill of it !!!
