It looks as if someone crossed the border and thought the coinstar would take Canadian coins.

Man I would quit detecting for a while if I had that coin spill lol. Coin-grats on the silver thimble and massive coinstar haul.

Very nice! I see some interesting foreign coins...Deutsche, Romanian, $2 Canadian...and a British pound! So close on finding silver....there's got to be older coins where you detected I would think...

Great bunch of finds Terry, both outdoors and indoors, Congrats!

Congrats Terry on the nice hunt and coin star finds! :occasion14:

Had to come home and look at the pics after we talked......you sure have the retrieval knack, Terry!!

Great quarter spill and thimble.

I would call it a successful day.

Some of that mystery metal is your oldest find. Its part of a 17th C (early 18th C latest) bronze cooking pot.

,

Thank you for the ID Crusader!! I knew it was old but had no idea - way cool!:occasion14:

Many good scores there- Congrats!

Way to go Terry! AS I walked into Staters yesterday I saw someone using the coinstar. I heard the reject bin clinking. Dashed up the isle for a couple steaks and some bottled tea and headed back to the front. Coinstar person gone Bin not emptied! I pulled 6 quarters from it. Unfortunately no silvers

That's a great thimble. Nice going and thanks for sharing!

The thimble you dug is aluminum not silver, which is evident from the style and details as well as coloration. Nice finds!
