Silver? what is it?

I found this outside the back yard foundation of a demolished house. Nearby was silver plated spoon, a small bell and other kitchen things.

It is quite fancy with 2 bottom borders and pillar like column. It showed cream color under the acid test but I don't see any markings.

Approximate size 1.5" x 2.5"

Salt shaker perhaps?

I suppose it could be the base to a match safe?

A match safe sounds possible. It is 20.9g so I am hoping it is sterling. Same house I have found silver spoon and several silver plated spoons.
