Silver? What's This

Found this at an old farm house. Has initials S W 1915 on it. Looks to be silver. Any ideas, new to the hobby

Cool find I have no idea, But Ill make a stab in the Sliver that It might be the top part of a cigarette case!!! What size is It HH Chug

Could be for cigarettes or for calling cards.
Looks like it might have belonged to a woman with that type of decoration.

There seems to be a little clasp at the side, this would suggest to me that it was once on a chain. I think this may have belonged to a lady, who kept, maybe her "dance" card, or a hankie in.... maybe.

It does appear to be some case top. It is about th size of a playing card

Yes, silver for sure. I have one almost exactly like it. Look inside at the hinge center and see if you can see the silver mark there. May be 800 or 925.
