The only silver nickels are the wartime nickels, 42-44 I think.

the last year for silver i think was actually 1963. the halves in 1964 are like 40 percent silver...

The war time nickels are 35% silver. They also produced regular nickels in 1942 as well. Silver war nickels have the mint mark on the reverse above the Monticello.
