Those little cartouche marks on the back will help you date it and figure out origin. I can’t see them well but I think the Pentagon mark matches us nicely with Yugoslavia pre 1935. Here’s one from the 925-1000 website:

Maybe something to do with the Gemini Constellation ("the twins")?
If that's a star pattern on top, maybe there exists a companion piece that completes the constellation?
