Pretty awesome box! Tomorrow I'll have my halves so I hope to break that skunk streak

Halve Box #15: skunk

$10 Loose Halves: skunk

Bank teller had 200 plus dollar worth of halves that someone "had appraised" and was told they were wroth face. I think someone just told the teller a story and dumped them. I only had 10 cash on me and took some just to scan through.

I did find a reverse lamination error on a 1972 half! First lam error on a coin other than a nickel.

I went to dump my coins from yesterdays hunt to discover my bank no longer has coin machines but will accept rolled coins. I spent a few hours rerolling coins today to dump just to get that box. It's going to throw a huge wrinkle in my CRH now that I don't have access to any coin countersimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Dime Box #1: 1945 Merc & 1959 D

I was dumping and depositing money today when I walked into a pick up bank. The teller asked if I was just depositing money and I said that was the plan. She proceeded to ask me if I wanted nickels because the order just came in from the truck and she hasn't put them in the vault yet. I politely said no thanks but do you have a box of dimes, to which she said yes. I bought a box of dimes since my dumping situation has been altered drastically. I'm glad I did buy the box now too!

$15 loose ikes: skunk

$372 Cwr halves: skunk

I think I'm getting other people's dumps now at one of my pick up banks. It's going to get real interesting now that my dump bank got rid of their coin counter machines. I may quit half dollar hunting and just do nickels and dimes.
