Never found a Franklin got two barbers and about six or seven walkers but no friken Franklins :icon_scratch:

Wow , what a nice day out ! I too have found a couple of Walkers , but no Franklins -

The house was built in '54 too. I am noticing a trend. I tend to find my best coins in the middle of these yards. Was it possible a good luck trend back in the day to bury a coin of your house's purchase/build-date in the yard... Just a thought

Nice. About 15 years ago I bought a bunch of Franklin halves for around $2 a piece. I hear that they are quite a bit more expensive now.

I think they are ugly, but Ben Franklin was a cool dude and when I was a kid my uncle used to give them to me for presents so I am kind of fond of them.

I don't know if it is a trend to bury money in the middle of the yard, but I have heard where some Indians (from India) buried money in the middle of their hotel lot, because they believe it will bring them success. I don't know if this is a religious or individual belief though.
