Silvers, LC, IHP, Relics

Got on a permission down the street from my house. The house was built in the early 1900s. Five minutes in I nailed a merc...five minutes after that a 1856 LC.



Wrapped it up after about an hour. Managed another Merc, an 1885 IHP, some costume jewelry, and a makeup compact ca. 1920-1930

I hit about a quarter of the yard. Didn't want to blow it all in one trip so I forced myself to leave some for next time!

Great digs. So much of metro NJ has been built over older use land. That seems like the case with that LC. That coin didn't circulate past 1857.
