Simplex Ultra, what a nice machine!

I started with the Simplex+ and had a lot of fun with that. Moved up to the Legend and waiting for the update dust to settle. Picked up a Simplex Ultra (w/ SX24 coil) and had a great time out. It's very quiet at full up, ground balances nicely, pinpoints nicely. Only had to adjust three things, ... turned off iron discrimination, turned down recovery speed to one bar and selected 99 tones. This unit hits deep targets, ... deeper than my Simplex+. I am way happy with my purchase. I found this sterling ring where others have hunted. It rang up a strong 94 on the ID and was ~ 6" deep.

Another nice feature is that the Simplex Ultra is noticeably lighter than the Simplex+ and Legend.
