Since I'm Jonesing in the Cabin, it's "Check Your Change"

About 3 days ago, I looked at my pocket change from local restaurants, gas station, etc. and found a wheatie. I went down the basement where all my stuff went (got it off the kitchen counters before xmas) and grabbed my best magnifying glass.
I was completely amazed to see that the coin is a somewhat worn 1909 Lincoln. Not a V.D.B., not an -S, but it's clean (unlike its brother that I dug at the Hibbard Tavern last year which still has some crud on it).

This is the 2nd neat coin to come out of pocket change this month, other was a '39 nickel.
Check yo' change!

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR POCKETS!

My wife opened a roll of pennies at the restuarant... and out rolled a 1864 Indian Head earlier this month.

A co-worker noticed he had two mercury dimes in his pocket change when the soda machine wouldn't except them. He said that he wasn't sure where he picked the two dimes up because he had stopped at three stores in the area. It does pay to check that spare change before you use it.

Yeah I worked in retail when I was younger, and the good stuff would always pop up more around the holidays.

WOAH! A fattie!! Outstanding!
Someone over on the DFX site got an 1867 Shield nickel (w/ rays) in store change.
I'd have hurt myself trying to do a back flip over that one.
