COLUMBIANA COUNTY - GEORGE ROBBINS FARM ... LESUER arrives in ROCHESTER, LORAINE COUNTY, OH in the mid-1800s. He was very secretive until he had looked; then asked for help in finding four springs that form a rough square. He said the cache was buried 1754-1763 during the FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR. Before leaving the area he gave a copy of the letter to a local. He said that he had had it since 1829. FORT DUQUESNE commander was LIGNERIS. He was a wealthy man and is known to have hidden a large amount of money on the farm.
