I finally finished the perimeter of the basketball court I've been working on. This court has been super generous and today was no exception. After a couple of pennies the morning took off with another ring [emoji2]. The fifth from around this perimeter.

12KT G.F. [emoji22]. There is a cleaned up pic of it in the all finds shot. I guess a ring is a ring.

By far, the best find at this court was in the corner today at about 6" depth. My first Military Cap Badge.

WWII era. The town I live in came into being because of the munitions factory that was built to support WWII. This court sits on land that used to hold the original housing built for the workers of this factory (Bomb Girls). I suppose this could have been lost during or after the war but I hope it was after. Here is a picture of the houses.

I really want to clean it up but not ____ it up so any advice for cleaning is gratefully accepted.

I'm definitely coming back to this court/park next year.

Hahaha, thanks Ace. The sun hadn't come up yet so all I could see at first while it was still in the plug was the shine so thought I had something worthwhile. It wasn't until the picture flash that I clued in it might be crap. Still, better than yet another clad penny.

Congratualtions on the nice finds!
