Wow! You got a good site. My cousin has asked me to search her Catholic church property-mainly in the playground and school field for lost jewelry. Of course, every penny I find on their property goes back to them in this case and often someone accompanies me to collect it. After being asked a third time and not having time available to help. I just loaned her my late father's Garrett Ace-the original metal-cased model. I used to sell these locally. She has gotten so into using it that she has taken it to her small property in No. Georgia to search. What she does not know that upon my parents passing, they had willed the Ace to her. She will get it after probate.

i spent about 8 hours(2 half days) hunting-a friend of mine lives on the property and does the mowing and lawn work. im sure i have dug over 40 silver coins in the last 2 years. also alot of wheats ,tootsie toys and military pins and buttons. odd thing is only one silver ring-hardly any jewelry. thanks for the comments and HH antlerman.

Congrats on the nice haul of silver!

found lots and lots of wheats-but no indians-need to go back after a soaking rain and dig the under 80s signals on my g2 meter. just been digging mostly signals 80s and above. very back of the picnic area has been filled with dirt in the past and i havent found anything there -guess its too deep for my detector to pick up. did find a couple of buffaloes but only one war nickle. always thought i had found everthing but a place is never hunted out as coins keep turning over i guess. HH GI.

Good luck! Find some barbers or Indians, if the site is old enough.
