Hey SIXGUNS; Thanks for the sacrifices you have made for the USA!!!!!! If you mesh with any locals, ask around about old coins the moneychangers have, you might scoop some silver coins from as early as Alexander the Great. Wishing you the best!

thanks slingshot... you can buy all kinds of "money" over here at the bazzar's, but all i have found is fake... i have found several key barbers, sitting 1/2's and several "rare" coins that look like they would make you rich... BUT, they are made out of aluminum, tin, or some other such... going to the bazzar in a few days, i will post some pics of all the things they have...

I have purchased several jewels (emeralds, rubies) and sent them home.

price for a 8kt emerald $40

appraised value when i went home on leave. $5300

look on MY face.......

yeap one of the better things of the service gems while overseas


Be careful as you know from the fake coins you have seen, they are very good at decieving the eye with anything they sell.

I looked at the emerald.
Awesome !! A real beauty.
Almost glows in the dark I'll bet.

Those Afghan beryls are nicely free of cracks.
Most aren't.
The color on yours is spectacular.

(I could go on all day) LOL
