Skinny dime breaks long drought !

Went to an older site today and after finding many newer coins got a typical dime signal that was much deeper, did a partial plug and folded back, check with ProPointer signal is in bottom of hole still! Dug down a bit more and pulled out dirt and the signal was out and then there it was! One thin old dime my first Barber so far this year!



On cleaning the coins a "Wheat" became evident also! Still has some bright copper too even better!

Hi, it didn't turn up in my dirt pile, I managed to locate it in the bottom of hole after folding plug back with ProPointer, I checked(used ProPoint again) the chunk of dirt I pried out with the Lesche and it was in there, so I examined the chunk and saw the edge of the coin and then added the chunk to my little goodie holder a rubber nugget keeper. That way the coin doesn't suffer scratches from being banged into other coins in finds pouch!

No silver coins for me yet this year. I found a "little" clad dime, edges of it are worn away so it's smaller that normal.
