Not what you want to see when the teller says she has a couple hundred dollars of halves and you say you'll buy them all




All I could do was hope for a newbie that doesnt know 40% dirty rims but nope-
So would you count it as a skunk?

Last week I bought 2 unsealed square half boxes filled with cwr's from one of my p/u banks. Seems lately another hunter has been ordering boxes from this bank also and re-rolling them and dumping them at the same bank. The head teller has told me she's not been too happy about it. And these last two boxes may have been two boxes I ordered myself that were swiped before I could pick them up and searched and dumped on me but Im not certain about that. Anyway when the teller brought out the two boxes and I could see they were unsealed I wasn't too happy about but I just took the boxes and didn't say anything about it. This has always been one of my best banks over the past several years so I thought I should just be a nice guy and take the boxes off her hands. But that's the last time I'm buying any more unsealed boxes from that bank. I have enough of my own coins to dump, I'm not going to spending my time every week dumping somebody else's too.

Hey russell, I'd say you were skunked before you even showed up lol, welcome to the club, here's a few of mine, the worst one is the pick from my van door with the 10 boxes in it, that was what I picked up when I ordered 10 boxes once, all repacks, that day REALLY SUCKED, dumping all those dumps for someone else uuhhgg. The cut down the side and retapped ones really pissed me off. HH, Maverick.

The sucky thing is like silverface this is the one and only bank I have a teller who saves "older" coins for me (got about $20 ikes $2 bills and a handful of bicentennial qtrs- nothing special) and now this ugh
