skunk returns -- update / kinda gone

After 5 boxes (3 from one bank 2 from another), I have found nothing. All skunks!

Not been a very good week for boxes. I did find one 67 when I stopped at a credit union to ask about halves. Im going back tomorrow to see if they have more.

Nothing worse than roll after roll of useless clad. Keep up the faith. Put a 40% into a roll just to remind you what they look like.

Funny you say that. I have put silver in a roll to get the feeling/sound of it. I found that out with the dimes I just did. So maybe my skunks were halves....the 1st of 3 boxes of dimes gave me a 1938 Merc, 1953 Roosi and a 1960 Roosi.

So...I guess the skunk got the halves but not the dimes! lol

Again. This is skunk 9 and 10. Wonder who dots the hair with a purple sharpie.

Sigh.....on ward. 4 boxes to go.

Box 12 had 1 - 1968.

Not sure if this qualifies as a break in the skunk streak?



Maybe a better day tomorrow, the bank only ordered me 2 boxes.

So only 4 boxes total between the bank and CU.

Hey, like I said, when you smell a long skunk streak.. switch it up. Go dimes or quarters to get your Ag. I was trying to break my previous skunk streak of 7 on quarters and yet couldn't break it. Found a 64D despite me trying. The dime box I did was a skunk too. Glad I added occasional quarters to the mix. I've gotten Ag from sources I normally would not have which is a plus. Get the Plastic, Not Paper.

I'm thinking on working coins from my CU. they have a customer coin machine I can buy from.


I've done dimes along with the halves. Got 2 silver Canadian dimes but no US. Oh well. It's silver so it counts.
