WELL, got my first box of $500 halves, and you guessed it SKUNKED. Im going to swap it out for a box of dimes and $130 in CWR Half Dollars. I'm gonna try a nother $500 box, If i get skunked, I'll just stick with CWR Halves and Dimes.

Don't give up on halves after only 2 boxes. Finding silver isn't as easy as people seem to think.

Here are my totals for the past few months. You'll notice that I've gone through quite a few skunks to find silver.

Just stick it out and you'll find silver.

You have to go through boxes and boxes of halfs that are skunks some times. If you are willing to do that , your silver pile will grow. HH

I had a triple skunk yesterday.....nothing in three $250 dime boxes. But I kept after it and found 10 in two $250 dime boxes, then came across the 1903 Barber in the reject slot of my coin counter.

You just never know when it's going to show up!

The skunks do stink but the scores are mighty sweet. So like others have said - don't give up and the scores should come.

I've been 8-skunked on 2 different occasions, including when I first started ordering. But my most recent 8 skunk was broken by a Franklin, and I soon afterwards went on a 2 day Walking Liberty streak.
