Cut down some pine trees in my front yard last summer. Piled all the slash and waited for a rain storm to light it off. Raining pretty hard today, so we fired it up.

No marshmallows or hot dogs?:laughing7:. There isn't much that burns as fast or easily as pine. Good time to get rid of it with the rain.

Oh yeah, burns great. At least four more trees to go.

I'd be handed a citation real fast if I did that at my place. We have a composting program around here. Three different trash cans now. One for what ever you think garbage is? One for recyclables, plastic, paper, metal cans and glass all go in that. Third is compost which is all the stuff that rots I think. In return you get free compost from the city that smells real bad like really old beer. Neighbors had a big pile out front and it smelled for weeks til they spread it all in their gardens and flower beds. Oh yeah. Slash is picked up maybe 4 times a year and they make free mulch out of that. We be GREEN here in Boulder County.

I've got about 80 cedars at mom's I'm going to do that to when we get some wetter weather. Guy came up and cleared all the cedar off and left the limbs and about 80 trees with about 10 foot of tops left

I have 4 huge piles to burn. I demoed/crushed/destroyed 2 mobile homes, and also broke my "vintage "excavator"...can't find parts...:BangHead:
We had 5 inches of rain in 24 hours..... Wet matches!!:laughing7:
