Well, I havent been finding many silver coins lately, so I decided to go out to my secret spot where found alot of Gold last year.

Was out there for about 2 hours and only managed a Small toe ring, and necklace with a small cross on it (Both 925).

Which was Odd because they both tested as Silver, but rang up a lttle below a Zinc Penny.

So i was about to leave when I got a very shallow target and decided to just pick it up, Normally when Im looking for Gold, I dont bother with Coin signals. But im VERY Glad I Did. It was just below the surface, in fact my Pinpointer was screaming when I stuck it on the ground.

I figured it was a typical Memorial, as it really didnt have any discoloring to it, but I flipped it over and it was a wheat. I threw it in my pouch and went home not thinking anything.

I got bored and looked up this Wheat 1911-S, and realized it was a Semi Key date :icon_scratch:. And I'm not sure what its worth, but I saw people selling worn ones for like 40 bucks.

Attached are some close up pics, maybe someone could tell me what it could tell me what condiiton they think its in. Im not good at Grading coins

Thanks for reading.

I would not qualify as an expert by any stretch but I'd call it VF based off the picture. It's hard to tell the details around the head. No matter how it grades, it's an extremely nice cent. Congrats!

Thanks Owassokie,

Thats more than I knew before. Sad that it might be the most valued coin I found since Detecting :laughing7:

I would call it around a VF 30 but can't be for sure unless its in hand.. nice find. Most D and S 's from 1909 - 1915 are semi keys or keys
