Well sites are hard to get on now due to growth or fields being planted ...so tried a beach hunt and then onto a site that may produce good in late fall...Wasn't going to post but most of my coppers since last year have been toast and managed a decent 1799 Geo III coin, crusty Geo III, ramrod thimble with roman numerals craved on it which I love finding! Also got this buckle marked at Monarch Knit...anyone know what's it's from, haven't seen one before...I'll try to fix picture sizes later with date...

What do the roman numerals on the ramrod likely represent?

NICE FINDS PATRIOT, ZUTPHEN

An expert told me a few years ago that they are numbered parts for assembly ...I have many ramrod pieces but only 3 marked...

That george dosnt look that crusty to me, i have dug much worse. Hope it cleans up nice for you  nice finds !

Nice going on the copper and the ramrod, wonder if the notches represent kills or size, or just a makers mark.?

Looks like a decent haul for this time of year! Wish I was in digging condition, finally hobbling around the house so hopefully I'll be ready to go well before fall.

That's a real nice looking copper. I'm happy any day I get a 1700s coin with detail

Sweet copper!!!! Nice looking coin.

I'm happy when I get any coin older than me!

The details present really well on that copper for a display piece ! Nice Save .

A keeper in my books as well...something I didn't have before and will go in a display case as a conversation piece...
