Slowly getting my Flint City finds together. Enjoy.

[Johnny X]

All personal or family surface finds from the same 5 acre site I call Flint City. Or to people who have been here from way back, "The field that never fails". 16 years of hunting. Enjoy.

So on your ax display is that a big shark tooth? And if so did you find it in the field also?

Good eye! That meg tooth is not a find. I have always wanted one for a center piece of my collection and they're beyond rare in Illinois, so my girlfriend bought me one for Christmas last year.

Have you ever thought about digging that site?

I've poked around with a shovel a bit. Just a lot of flakes and a couple scrapers. Not really sure where to start.
