Hang in there Herb, that snow will be gone in another month.. Then you'll be cussing the heat and skeeters ...Nice pictures

Re: Sluicing & Metal Detecting & Snow & camping Oh My

thanks for the pictures! its nice to put a face to the names. well theres one good thing about the snow, you didnt have to go very far to keep the food cold!heck everything around me is flooded!

Re: Sluicing & Metal Detecting & Snow & camping Oh My

Great photos 63, that global warming seems to be slow in your part of the world, maybe Southern California would be warmer? Good to see you are getting out and hunting, success with the gold is just a matter of time. Nuggy

Re: Sluicing & Metal Detecting & Snow & camping Oh My

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the pictures.

Russau - I agree, having a face with the name is neat. The food was plenty cool without putting it in the snow.

Nitro - the mosquito's are here even with the snow!

Today I will check to see if I can get in on the trail I want to be on, depends on the snow being gone or not. If it is still blocked then I will hike a different trail and maybe hike between them. More later 63bkpkr

Great post, thanks for the pics and the story! Even with the snow those look like some great areas to poke around in.
