Small bottle I found

I don't know anything about bottles, I found this in Savannah, Ga. Is this old? What was it used for?

Depending on where it was found, I'd take that as clue that better bottles could be in the area. Everyone knows Savannah has produced some very wonderful finds for quite some time and there's no doubt there is more there. Good luck and be safe.

That's a nice little bottle you have there. Especially since it still has the cork. If you could, post some close up picks of the bottle neck, the top lip, and the seam down the middle. I might then be able to help you with age.

Some of the small bottles are some of my favorites. We once dug a perfume bottle with an ornate top along with a small "travel" bottle with the exact same design. Very cool to get the matching set.

hi,your bottle held a small quantity of little round pills. but also for head ache powder . 1900 to 1920.
