You could give the coin a light wash with warm soapy water or let it sit in distilled water for awhile then give it a short olive oil soak and take it out every once in awhile for a gentle wipe to see if any more dirt is coming off. Some people don't like the oil method but for a none rare coin it couldn't hurt. Sometimes the bad green turns slimy when your washing it a lot of it should come off. If it was a brittle coin you could probably leave it just the way it is.

Awesome thanks. Yah I did the warm soap and water and it helps but u just gotta be carful thanks for the tips I'll try em out on others as well

Sometimes you get a nice green patina but others will have thick bad green (verdigris) that is eating the coin.
