Bought a small amount of mixed coins today for $20. The 1862 Indian head cent looks real nice - full liberty and everything. I assume the foreign silver is just worth silver value but will do some research.

Nice LC as well! It looks like you got more than your money's worth!

You definitely got your money's worth! What are the years are the 1 Franc and the 5 Lire?

The Belgian franc is very worn but is from 1867. The 5 lire is 1927.

I would give $20 anyday for those.....

Looks like you did well. The Indian Cent looks like it may have been cleaned. If so that will reduce its value a bit.

The IHC is a lot nicer than the 1862 I already had, so I will keep the new one, even if it might have been cleaned. It's much less worn.

That 1862 IC looks great, but might be cleaned - still worth much more than $20!

Looks like a nice buy. That LC is also in great shape.

I agree that you made a nice purchase! The 1862 IHC is super nice but it is really hard to tell if it in fact has been cleaned without better pics. The 1851 Large Cent definitely appears to have had an old cleaning and polishing but if it is a scarce to very rare variety, it still could worth big bucks, so it is really worth trying to identify (attribute) the variety. There are 42 Newcomb Varieties listed (previously 45 varieties for the 1851 Large Cent but N-11, N-28 and N-32 have been delisted).

I'd have pulled that $20 bill out so quickly I'd have probably ripped it.

Not a good score, a great score.
