Hey Guys,

Wanted to see if I could get some folks opinions on a stone I found. It's got some little green crystals on it's face, which I thought was algae for the longest time till I looked at it through a magnifying glass. Does anyone know what that grayish blue material may be mixed in with the stone? I am thinking maybe pockets of Galena, but I'm no geologist, I just did a google search xD

As always any thoughts, ideas, or opinions are greatly appreciated!

I see a silicate mineral associated with the quartz, unless it forms in lager quantity's to form crystals,
its only value would be to rock collectors, its all in the silicon dioxide family.
green rocks depending on host rock, I tend to put them as ether olivine or serpentine or if bedrock just greenstone.

My first guess on the green would be Olivine.
