I'm not sure what this is. It was found with some old stuff. It is about 1 inch long. Thanks! DD

That would be one small toilet seat! It is 1 inch long and looks the same on the other side. DD

Looks like the on/off valve for a gas lamp or from the base of a hanging oil lamp frame. :icon_scratch: See pictures.

I added a couple more pics. There are no threads inside the rounded part. I would say this dates before 1860. It was found at the bottom of an early privy. It could be a drawer pull but it is pretty small. It doesn't look to be broken anywhere. Thanks! DD

Im going with the drawer pull theory. Some small drawers have small hardware. Look at the example second from right. It has the same style.

I KNEW IT WAS A BAD JOKE. I DIDN'T MEAN TO COME OFF LIKE I DIDN'T BELIEVE YOU..

I'VE MD'D MORE THAN ONE OLD OUTHOUSE, AND SEVERAL PIG PENS AND CHICKEN HOUSES.

EVEN FOUND A ZINC LID WITH THE TOP HALF OF A MILKGLASS JAR HANGING FROM A WIRE.

LAUGHING AT US. THE DIFFERENCE IS, WE SOMETIMES LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.
