found this about 3 inches deep in NH about the size of a nickel but made of copper or bronze non magnetic and very thin, has no markings on it at all, thought it could be a blank dog tag what do you think

It looks a silvery color in the picture. Is it plated?

or a rose, other plant tag. If thin enough to "etch" it with a pen, it could be a blank for a plant tag.

It could be a number of things. It could be a blank for a keychain, dog tag, tool check, animal ear tag, love token, jewelry dangle or many other uses, that has not been stamped or engraved yet. I found one that may be a coffin tag.

I didnt realize how small it is. It looks the size of a penny. I think too small to be on a keychain and too small to be engraved with anything but a number. It could have come from jewelry but I would think it be silver.

Im thinking from a belly dancer or similar type costume. belly dancer.webp
