Small Piece of Quartz? (ID Help)

I found this in my backyard yesterday. It's about the size of a finger nail.
Can anyone ID this for me? I don't know a lot about rocks/minerals, but I thought this was pretty neat to find on the surface compared to the boring brown rocks in my yard.

Depends.. not sure if the yellow/green color is within the stone or it's being shadowed by a yellow light source. perhaps better lighting would help this thread.

The Proper Lighting can make a big difference. Thanks for the extra photos cause without the correct lighting I would have said peridot..

Quartz is the most likely. I don't see any cleavage.
