Metal Detecting
Today I found a handful of clad, pennies, dimes & two quarters. After washing them with soap and water I found an Austrian 10 Groschen from 1949 in the pile of coins. It is an odd coin to find but especially in my tiny hometown in South Carolina. Two years ago I found a Greek coin in the same area of a park. You’ve gotta dig them all, this is what makes metal detecting interesting. 51E9887D-0CD4-4E8C-82DD-20BAC3B96443.webp03C94CB4-10CC-4987-B271-8D57F987985F.webp

I found a 1967 5 Fenig ( I think it was 5) at one of my permissions last year, you never know what’s gonna pop out

The US occupied Austria after WW2 until 1955. My uncle was stationed there around that time. Maybe brought home by a veteran? Gary
