I see this critter as I drove into the Meadows this morning so I stopped to watch her lay eggs.

Only one problem, the dirt pile was to loose and as she dug it kept collapsing, after 3 tries she gave up and wandered off.

Then I mowed for 3 1/2 hours.

Neato. Did you put a stick up to it's face ?

When I was a kid in Iowa me and my buddy would always explore along the creeks and rivers. One time we came on to one big snapper. It's head was about as big as around as a plastic 2 liter soda bottle. We'd get a branch and tickle it's nose and in a flash that turtle would snap the end of that branch off in the blink of an eye. It almost looked like it was having fun showing us how mighty it's jaws were.

I watched them under a bridge as a kid fishing, mouth wide open tongue twitching like a worm.

GOD Bless

I will not even get close to that mouth:censored:. I have never seen a turtle lay eggs except on tv. Thank you for that!

I wanted to bring the eggs home and incubate them, can't have chickens..might as well raise turtles.

heck dude ya got ten fingers, donate one to give the old girl a good meal

I swear that turtle looks like my mother in law. Both enjoy biting people.
