Snarkie is in NC, not far from me. I talk to him every couple of weeks (known him for I guess about 7 years, in real life). He hasn't been active here in a year because he's been busy with some things. He got me on here when I started getting interested in panning.

Couldn't tell you. I haven't really considered "knowing" someone that I met online unless I have met them in person. Until I've met someone in person, he/she is just a username.
