And had to make a deposit today. So I asked them at Chase if they had any rolled halfs.. And after a few minutes came back with one. I took it and checked it out in the car. I laughed out loud when I saw a 64 in there !!What are the odds... Thanks guys for the good time today and hopefully more to come...

Small banks and small amounts of halves produce well...Good finds!!!

Yes, don't limit yourself to rolls. I went into a bank Friday and bought about $3.00 worth of loose halves and there was a 40% silver half mixed in with them. A lot of tellers don't know what they have.

Lots of tellers have coin trays that are easy to see. Don't forget to give them a good look see while you are talking to them.

I always ask it can't hurt. You never know what you will get.

Sometimes you can't tell by looking at the edges. I have been fooled several times by silver halves with tarnished or discolored edges.

The odds are pretty good really. Unless you happen to be banking where my wife is the teller LoL.
