Go Find them silver coins in Calico. Semper Fi
The place is probably nicknamed BIG ROCK CITY! I've seen it from the road but don't recall ever being there up close. TCYou are right to be cautious in the communist state of California TerryC.
Ghost town it’s self is owned by the county, beyond that it’s on BLM land. I have no idea where the boundary’s start or end, you can beep around on BLM supposedly...but you are not allowed to remove any artifacts. I was always under the impression that they were silver coins but as every treasure tale is told a million different ways it’s hard to know the real story.
Estimated $20,000 in Gold Coins (Taken)
Calico, San Bernardino County, California
Calico, a former ghost town that has been commercialized over the years, is now a tourist attraction located just a few miles from Barstow. In its early days two gamblers Pat Hogan and Wong Lee developed a system to beat the roulette wheel in Lucky Joe's Gambling Place. Both men met with misfortune and were killed. Before Pat Hogan died in Las Vegas, with his last breath he gasped, and said he buried his winnings in Calico three feet from a big rock. The gold is buried just outside of town.
OORAH!, my friend! TTCHello, there's a group of us that detect in Oceanside and North County areas, a few of us are former Marines.
