Ok...so first thread with pics...let's hope I cropped, uploaded..etc..correctly...but anyway...soccer field close to my house, I've hunted there several times with tons of clad, costume jewelry etc...this is a 6 acre park and an 1875 overlay showed
a dwelling there. Last weekend's short hunt did produce a very worn 1929 Standing Liberty quarter, but this find today warrants a pic or two for all my T-net friends, a beautiful 1943 Walking Liberty half dollar...ATP absolutely SCREAMED 90-91..what a beautiful sound...enjoy..Thanks very much..ddf

It must have been awesome seeing that come out of the hole!

Absolutely ! The 90-91 number along with the pure tone told me it wasn't just a quarter on edge, or multiple clad quarters...so I made my plug with plenty of berth, and when my Pro Pointer indicated it lay deeper, I dug with my fingers...and you know that feeling when u see shiny instead of dirty and corroded...I didn't have my phone with me and had to run...well..I RAN to the car and plodded back...lol..

Looks like a nice walker...

Thx Pirate...that's why we do what we do...I've dug literally HUNDREDS of dollars of clad from that 6 acre park...it's how I paid for my Pro Pointer !

I absolutely love Walkers! Congratz!
