I went to the local soccer field for about an hour. The field can’t be more than 10 years old. I was surprised to find an old English coin. I thought it was Canadian at first. It must have been somebody’s good luck charm.

Thanks for looking...

Looks like a very productive hour. Congrats on the old English penny

Nice digs! Congrats!

Thats a cool one penny, Congrats.

I've found a 1936 English One Penny and a 1938 one, I too think they were keepsakes or good
luck coins.

Good luck,
HH.

Very cool! I dug that same key chain. Yours is in much better shape than mine though. Congrats!

Excellent finds from that soccer field

Don't underestimate those soccer fields; I never thought much of the one nearby. Have pulled 6 silvers and 50+ wheats out of there, not to mention 150+ clad quarters. Keep sayin I'm goin in a gridding to find me some gold. End up hunting for the deepies. Keep on hitting that place! ffd

Nice digs. :icon_thumleft: Great English coin.

HH
