SOLVED! Solid Brass Hand Wrought Item With Thick Green Patina
SOLVED! THANKS! Today I tried out a new site. The owner says the chimney was all rock when he took it down piece by piece. There were also trees around the site that were at least 150-200 years old. I didn't find much of anything, but this was right under where the house foundation was. I dont have a clue what it is. It is crudely made, and had something iron forged to it at some point. My first thought was plumb bob. Then I remembered o tool that uses a similarly shaped piece of brass. Maybe someone will recognize it. Thanks!
