I've been working. No laughter please. So, Cru'dad was on his own. We only have about a day left on The Potato Field, so he went to look at one of our best farms for Roman Sites. Last time Land-Mag & I went, they had deep ploughed one of the Sites & by now we expected the rest would be done. However, no further activity has taken place, so we are guessing it's too wet. (Fingers crossed they still plan to do it)
He tried the edge of the deep ploughed field & then moved to Brooch Field (where another Fibula came up), & finished off on Copse Field.
After 3 fields & 4.5 hours:
5 Scrappies
1st C AD Fibula
Broken Roman Nail Cleaner

Work is what happens to most of us from time to time.

Loads of rain too? I managed a couple hrs yesterday without rain, then it started and now it's been 27hrs continious rain.....
