*Solved* (Small), Old, Cog Wheel?

Found on the beach in New Jersey...
Not sure.... Appears to be a piece of a small cog wheel?

Feels like stone... Has some letters on the reverse side.. Can only make out the last two letters..

Thank you for the welcome. I'm just a newbie in this fascinating world of treasure finds..
My usual search is for sea glass on the beaches, but what I have found recently are interesting pieces like this.
It amazes me how much of this stuff washes on to shore..
Imagine what the fish might be thinking...

You will need some lotion on those hands to keep them nice if you start digging in the dirt like the rest of us.
