oh, and i broke my dry spell its kinda crude and ugly but still counts a Datil, and a nice opalish thumb scraper. I still cant wait to get to our old spot, soon as fall comes

it is a piece of chert, i found a large piece of quartz used as a scraper/chopper but the cam wont take pics well of the workings so i didnt bother. another material we have here is chalcedony, its a milky clear material, also some has that moss look to it, makes awesome 4 pieces,and if you tumble it is great for that, i did 5 pounds a few months ago. here is the small scraper i told about earlier, pics didnt turn great but its allows light through 100% and is that chalcedony material.
