Thanks all. It's a battlefield that's been POUNDED with relic hunters, but the Tejon and a lot of patience is turning up a few things. Funny thing: that day, I found the largest shell frag (From a Confederate Reed I think, judging by the horizontal band) at one inch deep! I later found a shotgun shell a foot deep! Thick woods, no plow ever touched it. Go figure!
