These are some I took going through Utah and the Nevada Gold country. The weather was really nice going out Monday, but starting back I could see that was all about to change. The wind was pretty fierce coming home the whole way. It was really blowing over the Great Salt Lake and was whipping up some white caps on the surface. I think the Rockies are gonna get hammered with a spring snow tonight and I'm so happy I stayed ahead of the storm this time. Maybe RGINN will give us an update on what all take place up there tonight and tomorrow ?

Beautiful country! I hope I am able to travel out to the western part of this country again.

That is definitely an oversized load. Bet he has fun when/if he's dealing with the wind.

Gorgeous country...miss traveling out there..

WD: Load probably isn't too bad in the wind, especially with the wide
jeep axles (extra axles on the trailer). Getting it to follow straight behind
the tractor...well, that's another issue.

Grant..looks like a pretty good smudge on your lens:

I'm beginning to see some specks on the back side of the lens of this camera now. I've had other camera's that have gotten this contamination on the inside like that before. Could be time to start thinking about replacing this one now? I'm not sure how you get that out of there other than take it all apart, which could be a bit complicated.

Brings back some memories - Beautiful shots! :occasion14:

Good pics, as always. Didn't really amount to much snow for us here, once again.

They were sure talking up a big snow storm the night before over in Montrose, but I guess it fooled those meteorologist. At least I got home free of an I-70 mess on a Friday afternoon and that's always a call for praise.

Yeah the wind wasn't gonna blow that thing off the road. There were two that came up the hill. We had to wait maybe 20 minutes for them to clear. It was a whole convoy of highway patrol cars, power line basket trucks and push tractors going up the hill. No telling how much each one of those tanks weighed?
