Evening everyone. First off thanks for taking the time to check this out with that said I won't waste anymore time, heres my question. While searching rolls of half dollars today I found something quite interesting, a 1984 50 cent piece with a P mint mark. Now that might not seem too odd, but the mint mark is not centered between the 9 and 8, it is very very close to the 9, i would say only 2 maybe 3 millimeters away and mus lower than it should be. How common is this error would you coin experts think, and is it a major or minor error. I don't have a digi cam but more than likely I can get the ol lady to bring hers over tomarrow if a picture would help, in the mean time thank you for any input or info you can give and happy hunting!!
