Looks like a pelvis bone from a deer.

I think it is too big for a deer....your daughter should know what a deer pelves would look like :thumbsup:

Looks like hips from a deer, or dog. I have seen alot of these hiking, from deer. Two holes on the right rear are hip sockets I beleive.

Thanks Native1858 :hello: ! I wondered about those holes and if they were for sockets. That thing was kinda freaky looking under the water--looked like an alien :D.
