Found this today in a yard, looks familiar but I can't place it...any help welcome!

looks like a coat of arms or family crest.

Ford used a lion with three swords on a red field in some of its emblems a while back. I've found some similar ones but no exact match yet.

I was thinking some kind of car badge but couldn't find any with a Gryphon and three crosses. Also I don't see any wings so it might not be a Gryphon.

With the crosses and the animal which might be a dragon I thought St.George, maybe there is a school close by with that name and this could be something to do with the school.
