Just got back from opening up our upstate New York mountain camp and managed to do a little metal detecting. Found an old hunting knife buried deep under a large rock, a 1928 wheat cent literally in the middle of nowhere on the side of the mountain, an old Harris Suspender Co. suspender clip circa early 1900s, an old filtered gas can lid, 2 mason jar lids with BOYD'S porcelain mason jar lid inserts, an old Remington 22 shell casing, and 2 old shotgun shell heads circa early 1900s - a REM UMC NO 16 NITRO CLUB and a WESTERN FIELD NO 12.
