Is there a particular time of day or particular day of the week that is best for hitting up banks for halves? Are they more likely to have customer wrapped rolls and loose halves at the end of the day or week, or is what's there in the morning pretty much exactly what was there the night before?

If there are are multiple CRHers in a town, do you guys explicitly cooperate at all to avoid each-others dump banks, etc.? Or is it more of an zero-sum situation?

Anybody know some good banks with branches in Florida? Not just for CRH (although I'll be doing that too), but generally in terms of service and hours. My Wachovia branch is slow as molasses going uphill in January and I think they're somebody's dump. There's a 5/3 very close to me with good hours, but I don't know if they're douchey or whatever. I'd like to find some place with a free self-service coin-counter in the lobby, but I haven't spotted one yet.

Don't want to get there around closing or Fridays. They will find you annoying. ;D

There are really no direct answers to your questions. Luck of the draw. The only way halves magically show up at a certain time is if the bank has ordered them. No, hunters don't work together. It's a competition!

try to get there at least an hour before closing
that's about when they start counting the money in the vaults, and some of the teller's drawers.
